Eastgate is a natural paradise along the Similkameen River, a place of forests, cabins, and true serenity. Come to our campground and escape into this world for a while. We have tent and RV sites and accessible ATV trails. Plus, we’re located right off Hwy 3, just 10 minutes from the world-famous Manning Park, where you can continue your adventures.

There’s So Much To Discover

At Eastgate Escape, you’re set up for all the adventuring your heart could desire. There are ATV and hiking trails that go on for hours directly behind the campground. Or enjoy popular expeditions like the stunning alpine Bonnevier Trail Hike.

The majestic Similkameen River is just across the highway. There’s no better place to cool your feet on a hot day and watch your worries drift away.

Of course, the world-famous Manning Park is a 10 minute drive away. The park features classic southern BC alpine landscapes, and several different grades of hiking or biking trails. Enjoy Lightning Lakes for the day, where you can even rent boats. Cap off a relaxing day with food and drink at Pinewoods Dining or the Bear Den Pub.

Had a great weekend away at Eastgate Escape. The location is convenient for accessing all the beautiful trails and activities that Manning Park has to offer. There are so many hidden gems nearby to discover. Our camp hosts, Amy and James were very friendly and gracious, giving us great insider tips on what to check out in the area. We were able to walk to the nearby River, and quickly get to beautiful hiking spots. The facilities were clean and comfortable and the location is quiet and away from anything crowded, yet still close to everywhere we wanted to explore. There is also access to a service station within walking distance. I would highly recommend booking your Eastgate Escape, for an energizing break away from it all.

The Eastgate Escape Story

We’re Amy and James. As the owners of Eastgate Escape, we have one goal: we want you to completely relax when you’re staying with us. We love the outdoors and camping and that’s why we purchased this property back in 2016. We wanted to escape our busy city life, and help others escape too – even just for a little while.

To make this place as special and comfortable as we knew it could be, we worked hard. We communted every weekend from the Lower Mainland to work on the property, and then headed back for another work week. Finally, we moved to Eastgate in 2019. This is where we are raising our family.
